Top 8 Wedding Beauty Tips Every Bride Needs To Know

Wedding Beauty Tips- Sonia Ryan Top 8 Beauty Tips Every Bride Needs To Know

Here’s my top beauty tips that will help every bride plan ahead to ensure that she is beyond gorgeous for your wedding day!

1.Every bride wants gorgeous glowy skin on her wedding day. 1 week before your wedding day is not the time to switch to a new skin care regime or try a new facial treatment. This can wreak havoc on your skin which can lead to breakouts, skin irritations or potential skin allergies. Give yourself at least 6 months before your wedding day to try any new skin care products.

2. Beautiful brows will enhance your gorgeous eyes. Have your eyebrows professionally done. Threading, waxing and even electrolysis are great options.

3. Test your tan at least 2 months before your wedding day. Please ladies, don’t over do it! Orange is NOT a skin tone! Make sure your tan is the right shade and of course streak-free. If you have decided to try a self tanner, I have 3 rules for you: EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE!

4. Find the perfect foundation match. When you look closely at the colour of your skin on your face, neck and chest, you might notice that they are all different. My rule is to always match your foundation shade to your chest. This will ensure a perfect match!

5. Don’t be scared to wear false lashes on your wedding day. False lashes will help to define your eyes without having to apply more eye makeup. For the most natural look, I ALWAYS recommend individual lashes verses the banded lashes. They feel like you aren’t even wearing false lashes. They are AH-Mazing!

6. Avoid SPF on your wedding day. The SPF will actually reflect the light and you will look whiter and washed out in your photos but not in person.

7. Exfoliate your lips the morning of your wedding day and apply a lip balm. This will remove all the dead dry skin and allow for a beautiful application of lip colour and gloss.

8. Pack a touch up kit. There might be a few tears shed and undoubtably lots of kissing on your wedding day. Staying picture perfect requires a bit of pre planning. Here’s what I recommend that you have in your touch up kit: Lip Gloss, Oil Blotting Tissues or Transparent Powder, Pressed Foundation Powder and Cheek Colour.
