Oh my gosh, I’m so happy to introduce you to Kristan!
Kristan is such a sweetheart! As soon as I saw Kristan in person, I knew exactly which makeup look would be fantastic for her. Classic, timeless and of course elegant!!
I created Kristans’ look with neutral MAC eye colours, and defined her eyes with a soft chocolate brown eyeliner from Bobbi Brown along with fantastic lashes. I added a pop of colour to her cheeks with light pink blush from Mary Kay. A beautiful shimmering pink gloss was added to finish off her beautiful bridal makeup look.
Kristan’s beautiful wedding pictures were taken by the UBER talented Taylor Jackson. You are amazing!
A HUGE shout out to the fantastic Hair Team at Frank Anthony Salon and Spa and my very own “Dream Team” (Donna S+ Karen A) for working so well with the very aggressive time schedule! Everyone was beautified and ready to walk down the aisle on schedule!

I wanted to share with you this special email that my client Tamera sent me. It’s moments like these that make me love what I do even more!! I’ve always said that it’s not about how makeup makes you look, it’s ALL about how makeup makes you FEEL.
Hi Sonia,
You will have to forgive me for taking so long to send you this e-mail. But, I wanted to share with you some pictures from my wedding (August 15, 2009) and I wanted to thank you SO much for the beautiful makeup work you did. You are a true professional and you made us all look gorgeous! I am so happy with how the makeup looked, especially in the pictures!
Unfortunatly exactly 3 weeks following my wedding my Mom passed away after a long battle with cancer. But I truly believe the makeup you did for her on my wedding day gave her the self confidence she needed to feel beautiful; it lifted her spirits and she felt like a star. Just knowing that she felt beautiful that day warms my heart. She looked stunning and I can not thank you enough! We now have the pictures and memories to look back on.
So, thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was a pleasure working with you.

Meet Shelley Inglis, wedding planner extraordinaire and now bride!
Shelley and I met a few years ago. She was attending the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada certification program. I was a guest speaker at her class. I was there to teach the new wedding planners about the importance of hiring a qualified makeup artist for their clients wedding day. Shelley was in the front row and I LOVE IT when students sit in the front row. LOL I picked her to be my model, we totally hit it off! And the rest is history!!!
But now, it was Shelley’s turn to be the bride!! I was soooo excited when she announced her engagement. It’s time for the wedding planner to plan her own wedding and let me tell you, Shelley pulled out all the stops by planning her wedding in less then EIGHT weeks. Ya, that’s right, 8 weeks. Every detail was impeccable and gorgeous. Only the most talented wedding planner could pull this off!! She’s AMAZING!!!
Shelley’s makeup look was totally vintage glam! It was soft and smoky with a bold winged out eyeliner that made her eyes POP!
We opted out of the false band lashes cause really let’s be honest, you can usually tell someone is wearing them. Semi permanent lashes are the way to go! Seriously!!! They are beautiful, full and totally GLAM!! Her cheeks were a soft peach with a touch of light bronzer and I finished her look with a beautiful coral lip gloss. Can you say GORGEOUS??
