Smokey eyes aren’t just done with blacks, greys or browns. Have you ever tried it with purples? This is one of my favourite looks. Perfect for a wedding or a night out!

Step 1: Apply a cream or liquid base shimmer highlight- High Beam works great for this step, from lash line to brow bone.

Step 2- With an eye shadow brush apply your overall colour.

Why not try a beautiful purple by Shu uemura. Don’t forget to take a crease brush and blend the edges of the colour shadow up and out.

Step 3- Apply dark purple liner or a dark black. Take the liner and line the bottom lashes as well. Soften the liner with a pointed brush.

Step 4-Highlight the inner corners of your eyes with a sparkly shimmer shadow. Contour the outer corners of your eyes with a darker shade of shadow. You can use a rusty bronze or a deep violet to contour with a fluffy crease brush

Step 5- Define the eyes with a few coats of mascara or a pair of FABULOUS lashes and voila, gorgeous smokey eyes!!

Here’s my secret weapon for applying false lashes, it’s ALL about the glue… my absolute favourite eyelash glue is from Shu Uemura. It totally rocks!!!
